Name of place: Charlotte Beach & Pier

My Review: On those hot sultry summer days just pack your kids up in the car and
head on down to Lake Ontario’s Charlotte Beach.  Your kids and enjoy a day of
swimming in one of our nation’s largest Great Lakes, where it looks and feels
just like the ocean, but without the salt.  You will find ample free parking,
bath houses for both M & F to change and use facilities, and there are a number
of cute restaurants and ice cream shops to walk to if you get hungry and want a
treat!  The beaches are not crowded, there are lifeguards on duty and the waves
are fun for the kids to ride without any undercurrent to worry about.  After you
have had your fill of beach, you can change and take a walk down to the
Charlotte Pier where the entire family can enjoy watching the boats and sounds
of the water, and feed the birds if you so desire.  This is a fun filled day
that is free and makes you feel like you have taken a mini vacation for the day!
